After more than three decades leading one of Long Island's largest security integration firms, Tom Maggio recognized something missing from almost every security project.
Property owners had architects. They had engineers. They had contractors. They had security integrators.
But very few had someone whose only responsibility was protecting their interests.

For more than thirty years, I worked inside the security integration industry designing, estimating, installing, and managing complex security technology projects throughout Long Island and New York City.
That experience taught me how projects are priced, where costs increase, how vendors make decisions, and where owners can lose leverage without realizing it.
Every project had talented manufacturers, contractors, engineers, and system integrators. Each played an important role.
But almost none had someone whose only responsibility was representing the owner's interests.
That's why I founded Iron Gate Consulting.
Today I work exclusively for property owners, boards, and property managers, helping them make informed decisions, manage vendors, control costs, and protect long-term investments.
